BLACK BOX IMPROV FESTIVAL 2008

September 24th-28th, 2008 - DramaTech Theatre presents the Fifth Annual Black Box Improv Festival, celebrating 20 years of improv comedy at GA Tech with Atlanta's largest improv comedy festival. This event brings together Atlanta's sprawling improv community along with some of the country's best nationally touring acts to entertain audiences and educate the next generation of improvisers. SEPTEMBER 1, 2008 - REGISTRATION OPEN & SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
Congratulations to John Plough and Ryan Senator - recipients of the 2008 Robert Lowe Scholarship. Each recipient will receive a BBIF 2008 Shirt and All Access Pass free of charge.

AUGUST 1, 2008 - SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
Visit the Shows page and Workshops page for schedules. Reservations for shows will be available via this website on FRI 8/15. Registration for workshops will be available via this website on MON 9/1.
The openning round of the Black Box Improv Tournament (new event) will be held at Under the Couch on FRI 9/5 and SAT 9/6. For details click here.

Due to the large number of quality submissions we have received this year, we will be using Under the Couch as a second venue. UTC is a student-run music venue on the GA Tech Campus just a short walking distance away from our main venue, DramaTech Theatre. Click here to visit the UTC website.

MARCH 1, 2008 - SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN
The Black Box Improv Festival is seeking submissions from performance groups and instructors. Applications are also being accepted for the Robert Lowe Scholarship. All forms are now available online.
